How online longevity treatment works

Online longevity clinics sell treatments such as NAD+ injections and sermorelin, usually compounded and often with lab panels. The evidence behind many of them is limited, so we compare prices and clinical oversight and say plainly what each treatment is and isn’t approved for.

You fill in a health questionnaire on the provider’s own site. A licensed clinician reviews it, often with lab results, and decides whether a treatment is right for you. If you are prescribed, a licensed pharmacy ships it, and most providers renew the prescription on a subscription.

FDA-approved or compounded?

FDA-approved products, including generics, are made by their manufacturers to an approved standard. Compounded products are prepared by state-licensed pharmacies for an individual prescription, often to combine ingredients or change the form. They are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality.

NAD+ injections and sermorelin are compounded and are not FDA-approved for anti-aging. Evidence for anti-aging benefits is limited.

What to look for in a provider

  • The monthly price for the treatment you want, and what it covers: the consult, refills and shipping.
  • A real clinical review. A licensed clinician should review your history before prescribing and order lab tests where the treatment calls for them.
  • A licensed US pharmacy, and a clear statement of which products are FDA-approved and which are compounded.
  • Terms you can live with. Check the subscription length, how to cancel and what happens if you are not prescribed.

Questions, answered

How much do NAD+ injections cost online?

NAD+ injection therapy costs $149 to $285 a month with medication and any required membership included, at the 5 clinics on this page that publish an ongoing monthly price (as of October 2026). Eden and Mochi Health also require a membership, billed on top of the per-order or first-month NAD+ price.

Are NAD+ injections FDA-approved?

No. NAD+ is not FDA-approved for any use. FDA lets licensed pharmacies compound it for individual prescriptions under an interim policy (it is in Category 1 of FDA’s 503A bulk substances list), which is enforcement discretion, not approval. See our NAD+ guide.

Do NAD+ injections work?

No randomized trial has tested NAD+ injections for aging, energy or lifespan. Oral precursors such as nicotinamide riboside raise NAD+ levels in the blood, but raising a level isn’t the same as slowing aging. Read NAD+ therapy: what the evidence shows.

How are NAD+ injections given?

Most clinics ship vials for small injections under the skin or into a muscle at home, a few times a week as prescribed. IV drips are given at clinics, not by these online providers.

What are the side effects of NAD+ injections?

People report flushing, nausea, stomach discomfort, headache and soreness where they inject. In a study of IV NAD+, faster infusions caused more discomfort. There are no long-term safety data.

How long does a vial of NAD+ last?

It depends on the dose. Clinics sell 500 mg and 1,000 mg vials, and how many weeks one lasts depends on what your prescriber orders, so compare prices per month at your dose rather than per vial.

Do NAD+ supplements work as well as injections?

No trial has compared them. Oral precursors such as nicotinamide riboside raise NAD+ in the blood (Martens et al., 2018), but neither pills nor injections have been shown to slow aging.
