Prices are as each provider advertised them when we checked and can change at any time. Compounded peptides are not FDA-approved. We list a peptide only when a licensed pharmacy may compound it for a patient with a prescription. Most peptide uses here are off-label: sermorelin isn’t approved for aging, PT-141 (bremelanotide) is approved as Vyleesi only for premenopausal women, and oxytocin only as a hospital injection for labor and delivery. A prescription is required and is at the clinician’s discretion.

How online peptides treatment works

Many peptides sold online are research chemicals, not medicines. We list only licensed telehealth providers that prescribe after a clinician consult, and only peptides a pharmacy may legally compound, with the regulatory status of each one.

You fill in a health questionnaire on the provider’s own site. A licensed clinician reviews it and decides whether a treatment is right for you. If you are prescribed, a licensed pharmacy ships it, and most providers renew the prescription on a subscription.

Oxytocin (compounded) Oxytocin Compounded nasal spray, troche or cream Compounded; not FDA-approved

FDA-approved or compounded?

FDA-approved products, including generics, are made by their manufacturers to an approved standard. Compounded products are prepared by state-licensed pharmacies for an individual prescription, often to combine ingredients or change the form. They are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality.

What to look for in a provider

  • The monthly price for the treatment you want, and what it covers: the consult, refills and shipping.
  • A real clinical review. A licensed clinician should review your history before prescribing.
  • A licensed US pharmacy, and a clear statement of which products are FDA-approved and which are compounded.
  • Terms you can live with. Check the subscription length, how to cancel and what happens if you are not prescribed.

Questions, answered

How much does PT-141 cost online?

As of October 2026, compounded PT-141 runs $136 to $199 a month at the 3 providers here that publish an ongoing monthly price, with any required membership included. Vyleesi, the FDA-approved form, is approved only for low sexual desire in premenopausal women, so other uses, including in men, are off-label.

Is PT-141 the same as Vyleesi?

No. Vyleesi is the FDA-approved bremelanotide autoinjector for premenopausal women with acquired, generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder. Compounded PT-141 is not Vyleesi and not a generic of it: a pharmacy prepares it for one patient, and it isn’t FDA-approved. See our bremelanotide guide.

Who should not take PT-141?

The Vyleesi label rules it out for people with uncontrolled high blood pressure or known heart disease, because each dose briefly raises blood pressure. Nausea is common: 40% of women in its trials had it. A clinician should review your heart health and medications first.

How do you take PT-141?

Vyleesi is injected under the skin of the stomach or thigh at least 45 minutes before sex, no more than once in 24 hours and no more than 8 times a month. Compounded PT-141 is dosed by your prescriber. See the Vyleesi label.

Does PT-141 work for men?

It isn’t approved for men, so prescribing it to them is off-label. Vyleesi’s trials were in premenopausal women with low sexual desire, and evidence in men is limited to small studies.

Is PT-141 the same kind of drug as Viagra?

No. Viagra and other ED pills increase blood flow; PT-141 acts on melanocortin receptors in the brain involved in desire. They aren’t interchangeable.
