What we collect

You can use RxLineup without creating an account or giving us your name or email. Our tools, including the BMI check, cost calculator and match quiz, run in your browser, and your answers are not sent to us.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and working.

Links to providers

Links to providers go through a redirect at /go/. When you click one, our server records the click: a random click ID, the provider, the page and the position of the link on it, the time, the country your connection comes from and the page you came from. We keep that record ourselves to measure which links people use.

The provider and its affiliate network receive the random click ID, so they can tell us when a sign-up came from our link, and tracking tags on the link that name RxLineup and the provider. We don’t send them the page you were on or the link’s position. The link often opens the provider’s own page for the treatment you were reading about (its weight loss or ED page, for example), so that page itself tells the provider which treatment you clicked through for. When a provider’s affiliate network reports a sign-up, we store what it sends with the click ID. The provider’s privacy policy applies once you are on their site.

Newsletter

If you sign up for the RxLineup Letter, we store your email address, the page you signed up on and the time. We use your address only to send the newsletter, through an email service that works on our behalf, and we never sell it or share it for anyone else’s marketing. Every issue has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed.
