RxLineup earns a fee when you click a link to a provider and complete a qualifying step. Only providers that pay us appear in our rankings and reviews. Our guides also name providers that don’t pay us, so you can see the whole market.

We don’t cover every program on the market. Prices change often, so confirm the details with the provider before you enroll.

Questions, answered

How is the total calculated?

For compounded programs, we multiply the advertised monthly price by the number of months. Where a program charges more at higher doses, the result is a minimum. For brand-name medications we follow the label’s dose steps month by month at the manufacturer’s self-pay price, and add any membership fee.

Why does brand-name medication cost more over time?

Manufacturer self-pay prices are set by dose. Zepbound, for example, is $299 a month at 2.5 mg, $399 at 5 mg and $449 at 7.5 mg and above if you refill within 45 days.

Does this include insurance?

No. These are cash prices. If your insurance covers a brand-name GLP-1, manufacturer savings cards can bring the cost to as little as $25 a month.
