Embody weight loss review

Embody charges one flat price for compounded medication, provider visits and shipping, and it doesn’t rise with your dose. On its current Pre-Black Friday sale, semaglutide is $79 a month (regularly $299) or $49 a month on a 12-month bundle ($588 up front), and tirzepatide $129 (regularly $349) or $99. It serves every state except Louisiana.

Questions, answered

Is Embody legit?

Embody is run by Modern Metabolic Medicine (d/b/a Embody) and shows a LegitScript seal on its site. Clinicians from OpenLoop Health, a network of US-licensed doctors, review your intake and decide whether to prescribe. Compounded medication comes from 503A pharmacies it names: Red Rock Compounding Pharmacy, Health Warehouse, Precision Medicine and Triad Rx.

How much does Embody cost?

As of November 2026, Embody’s Pre-Black Friday sale prices compounded semaglutide at $79 a month (regularly $299), or $76, $73 and $49 a month on 3-, 6- and 12-month bundles, and compounded tirzepatide at $129 a month (regularly $349), or $126, $123 and $99. The price includes all doses, shipping and provider visits, with no membership fee. Embody doesn’t publish regular prices for the bundles, and its terms say the monthly price doesn’t increase.

Does Embody’s price go up with the dose?

No. Embody says your price stays the same if your dose changes within the same medication; it changes only if you add a medication or switch plans. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not Wegovy or Zepbound, and not generics of them. A compounding pharmacy prepares them, and they aren’t FDA-approved.

Can I cancel Embody?

Yes, in the patient portal or by contacting support at least 72 hours before your next billing date. Payments already made aren’t refunded, and 3-, 6- and 12-month bundles are non-refundable. The exception: if a provider finds you not medically eligible, you get back the unused part of your term, less services already provided.

Does Embody take insurance?

Self-pay; Embody’s medical groups aren’t contracted with any insurance plan. HSA/FSA accepted.

What GLP-1 medications does Embody prescribe?

Embody offers Semaglutide (compounded), Tirzepatide (compounded). A licensed clinician decides whether a medication is appropriate for you. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.

Is Embody available in my state?

Embody serves: All US states except Louisiana (Nebraska: 19 and older). Check that Embody serves your state for weight loss treatment at the start of the intake.
