GoodLife Health review

GoodLife Health is a $299-a-month membership that covers a video intake, comprehensive labs every 90 days, monthly check-ins and unlimited messaging. Its clinicians prescribe only where clinically appropriate, after lab work and a clinician consultation, and only brand-name GLP-1s (the Wegovy pen and pill, Zepbound, Mounjaro, Ozempic and Foundayo); the pharmacy you choose bills you for the medication, which GoodLife doesn’t price. Membership starts with a two-month commitment.

Questions, answered

Is GoodLife Health legit?

GoodLife Health displays LegitScript certification #50944986. It is a direct primary care telehealth membership: its professional corporation is owned by its chief medical officer, Dr. Kristin Makinajyan, FNP, DNP, and physicians of Beluga Health, P.A. give the care in all 50 states. It prescribes brand-name, FDA-approved GLP-1s only, and only where clinically appropriate after lab work and a clinician consultation.

How much does GoodLife Health cost?

The membership is $299 a month. At checkout $598 is held for the first two months and charged once a clinician accepts you into care. It covers labs every 90 days, monthly check-ins and messaging. Can I cancel GoodLife Health?

After the first two months you can cancel any time from the member portal or by email, and billing stops at the next cycle. The two-month payment isn’t refundable once you are accepted into care, and partial months aren’t pro-rated. If a clinician can’t accept you, the hold is released and you aren’t charged.

Does GoodLife Health take insurance?

The membership is self-pay; GoodLife doesn’t take insurance. Your insurance can cover the medication at the pharmacy. GoodLife says many members pay with HSA/FSA dollars, but it doesn’t promise the membership fee is HSA or FSA eligible: your account administrator decides.
