DudeMeds hair loss review

DudeMeds sells two compounded daily tablets for hair loss, each an 84-day supply: Follicle Fuel 1 (finasteride 1 mg, minoxidil 2.5 mg, biotin and vitamins D3 and K2) and Follicle Fuel 2 (dutasteride 0.5 mg in place of finasteride). It shows prices only after you choose a state and accept its terms and telehealth consent. Both are compounded, so they are not FDA-approved, and oral minoxidil and dutasteride are off-label for hair loss.

  • Safety: Oral finasteride and minoxidil combination carries a boxed warning for fluid around the heart and worsening angina (minoxidil tablets). Read before you start

One of these treatments carries an FDA boxed warning, the strongest warning on a label: oral finasteride and minoxidil combination.

No boxed warning. Women who are or may be pregnant should not handle dutasteride capsules because of the risk to a male fetus. FDA label

Questions, answered

How much does DudeMeds cost for hair loss?

DudeMeds shows each product’s total in its price tool after you choose your state and accept its terms and telehealth consent, before the health intake. We don’t accept those terms, so we haven’t listed its prices. We last checked DudeMeds’s hair loss pages on October 26, 2026.

Is Follicle Fuel FDA-approved?

No. Follicle Fuel 1 and 2 are compounded tablets, so they are not FDA-approved, and no oral combination of finasteride or dutasteride with minoxidil is.

Does DudeMeds take insurance?

Self-pay; DudeMeds doesn’t take insurance. For hair loss, DudeMeds doesn’t publish a price.

What does DudeMeds prescribe for hair loss?

DudeMeds offers oral finasteride and minoxidil and dutasteride. A licensed clinician decides whether a treatment is right for you. Compounded products are not FDA-approved.

Is DudeMeds legit?

DudeMeds displays LegitScript certification, a third-party program that checks online healthcare companies against licensing and pharmacy rules (it isn’t a rating of the care). ED and hair treatments: online questionnaire reviewed by a U.S.-licensed provider.
