In short
- Novo Nordisk’s Wegovy Savings Offer lets people whose commercial insurance covers Wegovy pay as little as $25 a fill, with savings capped at $100 a month ($200 for a 2-month fill, $300 for 3), as of October 26, 2026.
- It works for every pen dose from 0.25 mg to Wegovy HD 7.2 mg and every pill dose. Medicare, Medicaid, VA, DoD and TRICARE members can’t use it; federal employee, ACA marketplace and state employee plans can.
- Without coverage, the self-pay offer prices the pen at $349 a month from 0.25 mg to 2.4 mg and $399 for Wegovy HD, with $199 for a new patient’s first two fills through December 31, 2026.
- The Wegovy pill costs $149 a month at 1.5 mg, $199 at 4 mg and $299 at 9 mg and 25 mg on the self-pay offer.
- Eligible Medicare Part D enrollees can get any dose of the Wegovy pen or pill for $50 a month through the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, through December 31, 2027.
The Wegovy coupon is Novo Nordisk’s own Wegovy Savings Offer. If your commercial insurance covers Wegovy, it can bring a fill down to $25, with savings capped at $100 a month. If your plan doesn’t cover it, or you have no insurance, Novo’s self-pay offer sets the price instead: $349 a month for the pen at 0.25 mg to 2.4 mg, $199 for a new patient’s first two fills, and $149 to $299 for the Wegovy pill. Medicare and other government plans are excluded from the $25 offer, but Medicare Part D has a $50 route.

The $25 savings offer for people with coverage
The Wegovy Savings Offer covers the pen at 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 1.7 mg, 2.4 mg and Wegovy HD 7.2 mg, and the pill at 1.5 mg, 4 mg, 9 mg and 25 mg. To use it, Novo’s terms say you need:
- A valid Wegovy prescription for an FDA-approved use. The Wegovy label covers long-term weight reduction in adults with obesity, or with overweight and a weight-related condition (the injection also from age 12 with obesity), lowering cardiovascular risk in adults with established heart disease and obesity or overweight, and, for the injection, the liver disease MASH with moderate to advanced fibrosis.
- Commercial insurance that covers Wegovy.
- No enrollment in a federal or state health program with drug coverage, such as Medicaid, Medicare, VA, DoD or TRICARE.
Novo’s terms add one useful detail: the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, Affordable Care Act marketplace plans and state employee plans do not count as government programs for this offer. If you’re on one of those, you can use it.
The offer is valid in the US and its territories, one per person. In Massachusetts it depends on state law at the time you fill. Prescriptions filled before you enroll can’t be reimbursed.
How the $100 cap works
You pay as little as $25, but the offer pays at most $100 toward a 1-month fill, $200 toward a 2-month fill and $300 toward a 3-month fill. A month is one box of 4 pens (28 days) or one bottle of 30 tablets (30 days). So:
- If your copay for a month is $125 or less, you pay $25.
- If your copay is $300 a month, the offer pays $100 and you pay $200.
Ask your plan what you’d owe for Wegovy, including before your deductible is met, before you count on $25.
Plans that can block it
Some insurers run accumulator programs, where manufacturer savings don’t count toward your deductible, or maximizer programs, which set your share based on the coupon. Novo’s terms say that if your plan has one, you aren’t eligible, and Novo may cut or end your savings. The offer also can’t be combined with any other coupon, self-pay discount, certificate or voucher, except Novo’s own automatic eVoucher at participating pharmacies.
How to get the savings offer
- Check whether your plan covers Wegovy. Novo has a coverage lookup on wegovy.com, or you can call your plan.
- Get the offer by texting SAVE to 83757 or answering a few questions on Novo’s savings page.
- Show it at a participating pharmacy. The pharmacy bills your insurance first and sends the rest to the offer.
- If you use a mail-order pharmacy, or your pharmacy can’t process it, send Novo’s reimbursement form with your original receipt within 180 days of the fill. Novo says to allow 6 to 8 weeks.
The self-pay offer if Wegovy isn’t covered
If your plan doesn’t cover Wegovy, or you choose not to use insurance, Novo’s self-pay offer sets these prices. They apply through NovoCare Pharmacy home delivery or at participating retail pharmacies.

A new patient is someone who hasn’t used a Wegovy injection savings offer in the past 365 days. The $199 price covers the first two 28-day fills only, and the prescription must be filled by December 31, 2026. The third fill moves to $349. NovoCare doesn’t charge more as the pen dose rises to 2.4 mg.
Self-pay purchases sit outside insurance. They don’t count toward your deductible or out-of-pocket limit, and you agree not to seek reimbursement from any insurer. People with Medicare can use the self-pay offer on those terms. Our Wegovy cost guide works out what a year costs, and our Wegovy pill cost guide covers the pill dose by dose.
Medicare, Medicaid and other government plans
Novo Nordisk says eligible Medicare Part D enrollees can get every dose of the Wegovy pen and pill for $50 a month through the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, from July 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027. You need a standalone drug plan or a Medicare Advantage plan with drug coverage, and your doctor must submit a prior authorization showing you meet CMS’s clinical criteria. CMS says the $50 doesn’t count toward your Part D out-of-pocket costs and the low-income subsidy doesn’t apply to it. Our Medicare guide explains who qualifies.
Medicaid, VA and TRICARE coverage depends on your plan. Our guide to whether insurance covers GLP-1s lists the state Medicaid programs that cover weight-loss drugs.
List price vs what you pay
NovoCare lists the Wegovy pill, the Wegovy pen and the Wegovy HD pen at $1,349.02 per package. That’s the price Novo sets before discounts or rebates. Novo says most people whose insurance covers Wegovy don’t pay it, and self-pay buyers pay the offer prices above.
What online programs charge
Most programs that prescribe Wegovy pass on NovoCare’s self-pay prices and charge a membership on top. As of October 2026, Measured lists Wegovy at $199 to $349 a month plus $99 a month on its Wegovy page, and Hims lists the pen from $199 plus its $149 monthly membership after a $39 first month. A few list much higher prices: Orderly Meds lists the Wegovy pen at $1,839 a month, and Eden lists Wegovy at $1,695 a month plus its $99 membership. Ask any program whether it uses Novo’s self-pay offer before you join. Our semaglutide provider rankings and insurance rankings list the programs we track.
The bottom line
The real Wegovy coupon is Novo Nordisk’s Wegovy Savings Offer: with commercial coverage, as little as $25 a fill, up to $100 off a month. Without coverage, the self-pay offer prices the pen at $349 a month, $199 for a new patient’s first two fills through December 31, 2026, and the pill at $149 to $299. Medicare Part D enrollees should look at the $50 GLP-1 Bridge. Check your plan first, then ask a licensed clinician whether the pen or the pill suits you.
