In short

  1. Ivim Health is run by Ivim Services LLC of Columbus, Ohio. Ivim says board-certified providers see patients by video or chat and that it has served 470,000+ patients, and its site showed a LegitScript Certified seal on Oct 27, 2026.
  2. As of October 2026, compounded semaglutide starts at $65 a month and compounded tirzepatide at $117, plus a $74.99 monthly membership, so about $140 or $192 a month all-in at the starting price.
  3. On Feb 20, 2026 the FDA sent Ivim a warning letter because product labels pictured on its site named Ivim, suggesting it was the compounder when it isn’t.
  4. Ivim names 6 compounding pharmacies, among them Empower Pharmacy in Houston and Olympia Pharmacy in Orlando, plus 2 pharmacies for brand-name drugs.
  5. On Oct 27, 2026 Ivim had a 4.9 TrustScore from 39,956 Trustpilot reviews and an A+ BBB rating, with 100 BBB complaints in 3 years, 32 of them about billing.
  6. Shipped medication is non-refundable. Cancel a program early and Ivim refunds unshipped medication minus a $50 or $100 fee per unshipped portion; missed check-ins don’t pause the program’s fixed end date.

Ivim Health is a legitimate telehealth company: board-certified providers prescribe after a video or chat visit, it names the pharmacies that fill its prescriptions, and its site carries a LegitScript Certified seal. Its compounded GLP-1 starting prices are among the lowest you’ll see, but a monthly membership is billed on top, shipped medication is non-refundable, and the FDA sent it a warning letter in February 2026 over how its product labels looked online. Here is what we confirmed on Ivim’s own pages and on review sites, as of Oct 27, 2026.

Who runs Ivim Health

Ivim Health (written Ivím on its site) is the brand of Ivim Services LLC, at 4200 Regent Street in Columbus, Ohio, the address on the FDA’s letter and on its BBB profile. Its refund policy names the clinical side as Ivim Professional Corporation. The BBB lists a business start date of April 29, 2022.

Ivim says it was founded by two brothers, Anthony Kantor, its chief executive, and Dr. Taylor Kantor, a cardiac surgeon, and it names Jessica Duncan, MD, a board-certified obesity medicine physician, as chief medical officer. It says it has served more than 470,000 patients. It isn’t available in every state, and it doesn’t publish the list, so check yours before you start.

How the weight loss program works, according to Ivim:

  • You complete a health questionnaire, then have a video or chat visit with an Ivim provider.
  • You check in each week in the app, and your provider can adjust your dose.
  • Compounded GLP-1s ship in supplies of up to 56 days. Each refill needs a completed check-in and provider approval, and nothing ships automatically.
  • The first provider consultation is free. The membership then adds unlimited provider visits, 24/7 care team access, group classes and 20% off Ivim’s supplements.

Licensing, LegitScript and pharmacies

Ivim’s pages load LegitScript seal 16392114, which links to LegitScript’s lookup for ivimhealth.com. When we loaded the seal on Oct 27, 2026 it read “LegitScript Certified.” LegitScript’s lookup page itself didn’t load for us. LegitScript checks online health companies against licensing and pharmacy rules; it doesn’t rate the quality of care.

Ivim is unusually open about where its medication comes from. Its medication safety page lists six compounding pharmacies: Empower Pharmacy (Houston, Texas), Hallandale Pharmacy (Fort Lauderdale, Florida), SBH Medical (Columbus, Ohio), Enovex Compounding Pharmacy (Los Angeles), The Pharmacy Hub (Miami) and Olympia Pharmacy (Orlando). Brand-name drugs come through AssistRx Patient Solutions Pharmacy (Overland Park, Kansas) or Gifthealth (Columbus, Ohio). Your label names the one that filled your order.

What Ivim sells

GLP-1 medicines carry a boxed warning: the FDA labels for semaglutide (Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Zepbound) warn that the drugs caused thyroid C-cell tumors in rodents and that people with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2 shouldn’t use them.

For weight loss, Ivim prescribes compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, and brand-name Zepbound, Wegovy, the Wegovy pill, Foundayo and Ozempic. Ozempic is FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes, so using it for weight loss is off-label.

Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not Wegovy, Ozempic or Zepbound and not generics of them. A compounding pharmacy prepares them, and they aren’t FDA-approved; the FDA says it doesn’t review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before they’re marketed. Ivim’s own pages say the same.

Beyond weight loss, Ivim lists hormone treatments for women and men, plus products such as sermorelin and NAD+, and it is taking a waitlist for “peptide therapies.” Those are separate programs with their own prices; for the legal status of one of them, see is sermorelin legal?

The FDA warning letter

On Feb 20, 2026, the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research sent a warning letter to Ivim Services LLC dba Ivim, after reviewing ivimhealth.com in December 2025. The issue was the product photos: the compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide labels pictured on the site showed the Ivim name, which the FDA said suggested Ivim was the compounder when it isn’t. That made the products misbranded, the letter said, and it asked Ivim to reply within 15 working days, for example by identifying who makes the products and providing sample labels.

The FDA posted Ivim’s letter on March 3, 2026, the day it announced 30 warning letters to telehealth companies over compounded GLP-1 marketing. The agency said the main problems across those letters were claims implying sameness with FDA-approved drugs and branding compounded drugs with the telehealth company’s own name. A warning letter isn’t a fine, a recall or a finding about the quality of a batch, and the FDA notes that matters in a letter may have changed since. As of Oct 27, 2026, Ivim’s site names the pharmacies behind its compounded prescriptions.

What Ivim Health costs

Prices as of October 2026, from Ivim’s weight loss and membership pages:

ItemPriceWhat to know
Membership$74.99 a month (Ivim rounds it to $75) after a free first consultationAuto-renews and must run the length of your program
Compounded semaglutideStarting at $65 a monthAbout $140 a month with the membership
Compounded tirzepatideStarting at $117 a monthAbout $192 a month with the membership
Brand-name GLP-1sNot publishedIvim helps check your insurance coverage

Three things to know before you compare. The advertised prices are starting prices, and Ivim doesn’t publish what each program length costs; its terms describe prepaid programs with a fixed end date. It doesn’t say whether the price changes as your dose rises. And compounded medication is cash pay; only brand-name drugs may be covered by insurance.

For context, at 20 of the 26 programs we rank, the lowest ongoing all-in price for compounded semaglutide runs from $65 to $299 a month, as of November 2026. Ivim’s medication price matches the bottom of that range, and its all-in price of about $140 sits in the lower half. For comparison, yourEra’s $65 a month (12-month plan) and Collective’s $75.58 already include the program fee.

The BBB files Ivim’s complaints as billing (32), product (30), delivery (11), order (9), customer service (7), service (7) and sales and advertising (4). The themes that repeat in the complaints:

  • Membership charges after a change. Customers say the $74.99 membership kept billing after their medication stopped or changed.
  • Shipping. Orders that arrived late or not at all.
  • Refund disputes. Customers who felt the medication didn’t work asked for refunds that Ivim declined under its terms.

Compared with the volume of patients Ivim reports, its BBB complaint count is low, and its BBB rating is the top grade.

Refunds, cancellation and the program period

Ivim’s terms are strict, and they are the main thing to read before you pay:

  • No refunds on shipped medication. Ivim’s refund policy says prescribed medications are non-refundable. The one exception is in its terms: if you cancel a prepaid program, it refunds medication that hasn’t shipped, minus $100 for each unshipped 3-month portion or $50 for each 2-month portion on 4- or 6-month programs. The fee is waived if a provider finds you medically ineligible, for example because of pregnancy.
  • Programs run on a fixed clock. Each program has a fixed length counted from the purchase date, and it ends then whether or not you’ve received all of it. You get a 14-day grace period after the end date to request a final shipment; after that, unshipped medication is forfeited.
  • Missed check-ins don’t pause it. If you miss a check-in or a refill window, the program keeps running. Only a pause your provider documents as medically necessary extends it.
  • Cancelling. The membership auto-renews until you cancel online. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period and doesn’t refund fees already paid, and because medication needs an active membership, it ends future shipments too.
  • Problems with a delivery must be reported within 72 hours.

The bottom line

Ivim Health is legitimate: board-certified providers, named pharmacies, a LegitScript seal and a strong record on both Trustpilot and the BBB. It suits people who want weekly attention to their dose and are ready to commit to a prepaid program. Its February 2026 FDA letter was about how its labels looked online, not about a recall, and its site now names its pharmacies. The trade-off is flexibility: you pay a membership on top of medication, and once you’ve bought a program, you get back only unshipped medication, minus a fee, if you cancel early, and nothing for medication you don’t request before the program ends.

Questions, answered

Is Ivim Health legit?

Yes. Ivim Health is a US telehealth company in Columbus, Ohio, run by Ivim Services LLC with Ivim Professional Corporation. Board-certified providers prescribe after a video or chat visit, it names the pharmacies that fill its prescriptions, and its site displayed a LegitScript Certified seal on Oct 27, 2026. The FDA sent it a warning letter in February 2026 about labels that suggested Ivim compounded its own drugs.

How much does Ivim Health cost?

As of October 2026, compounded semaglutide starts at $65 a month and compounded tirzepatide at $117 a month, and the membership is $74.99 a month after a free first provider consultation. That makes about $140 a month all-in for semaglutide and $192 for tirzepatide at the starting price. Ivim doesn’t publish prices by program length or dose, or brand-name drug prices.

What do Ivim reviews say?

On Oct 27, 2026 Ivim had a 4.9 TrustScore from 39,956 Trustpilot reviews, and Trustpilot notes that it invites customers to review. On the BBB it had an A+ rating, a 4.67 out of 5 average from 380 customer reviews, and 100 complaints in 3 years, mostly about billing, products and delivery.

Does Ivim Health take insurance?

Not for compounded medication, which is cash pay. For brand-name GLP-1s such as Zepbound and Wegovy, Ivim says it can help check whether your insurance covers them. The membership is billed separately either way.

Can I get a refund from Ivim Health?

Only in limited cases. Shipped medication and membership fees already paid aren’t refunded. If you cancel a prepaid program early, Ivim’s terms say it refunds unshipped medication minus a fee of $100 per unshipped 3-month portion, or $50 per 2-month portion on 4- or 6-month programs, waived if a provider finds you medically ineligible. Damaged, lost or missing shipments must be reported within 72 hours, and unopened supplements can be returned within 30 days.
